Introduction

BRIEF HISTORY OF ADVENTURE AND RECREATIONAL CLUB IIUM

Adventure and Recreational Club of IIUM has been established some 10 years ago under the leadership of prominent figures such as Dr. Zaid Mohamad, Bro. Rudi Janto Eko Nugroho Rachmat and Bro. Rosman Ridzuan. For a decade now it has undergone the test of time. The many odds and obstacles standing on its way do not seem to hinder its development. They only help to make it stronger.

The urge to prepare a brief history of club activities is more demanding than ever. It is so important because it could serve as a formal reference so that many generations more to come will always remember the legacy of this club. As the club is experiencing its maturity stage, it's sensible for newer generation to grab useful values and take into account how the survival lasts in laugh and tears, rise and fall. At least, hopefully, the present age bracket will not replicate the one and the same slip-up, and be robust enough to encounter any kind of resistance.
